It's been a little over 3 weeks since now since the move and we absolutely love our new house! As I type this new post I am sitting on my porch swing tapping on the keys of the laptop and swinging in the very beautiful 75 degree weather we had today.
Moving has been quite challenging to say the least. There has been nothing unexpected just a lot of hard work that I should have expected to be tough on me but I guess I thought it wouldn't be all that bad. On the first weekend a bunch of the girls
lended hand so that was nice (thanks ladies!) It was so nice to finally hear the words....."this is such a great house!" It feels like I've waited forever to hear those words. Here are a few pictures from the move.............

and one not so attractive one of me because I had been sweating a lot from unpacking and cleaning but it shows my little belly starting to show more and more at 22 weeks.......

We were so concerned about the weather because all week long the news was calling for rain, rain and more rain but after we signed the papers on the morning of the 20
th the sun began to come out and it stayed out for the whole weekend so someone was looking out for us. I was so excited about finally being in our new home that I convinced Ryan to set up the air mattress in our new Master bedroom so we could sleep there (
ok, so it wasn't the best nights sleep I ever had but it was still in our new house!)........

On Sunday of that weekend I began to realize that there was just NO WAY I was going to be able to handle cleaning our old apartment to get that ready to be painted and rented in time for the new tenants to move in so.......I did it! I hired a cleaning lady! I love the sound of that....."my cleaning lady" :-)
Ok, so that was a one time deal but it still felt good to say and I might have Daddy to be hire her to do a general cleaning in the new house for my birthday present right before the baby is due to arrive.....sounds like a great idea to me! Ryan's Mom and Step Dad came down on Thursday of that week to help paint the apartment and it was a great help! I don't know how we would have gotten it all done without them. We got almost all of the painting done that day and just needed to go back to do some touch
up's and move the rest of the stuff out of the garage. Oh, and some of you may remember that we had some record breaking temperatures that week too....that made it really difficult for Momma to keep up a good pace but I did what I could.
I've been non-stop here at the new house since we moved in. Every second I get I'm scrubbing or organizing something! With the exception of scrubbing the dreaded kitchen floor and taking out all of my decorations/pictures I'm completely done. Everything has been washed from top to bottom on the inside of the house and it feels very good! I know I've been going a bit nuts but I can't help it, I really want to get it all done now so for the last few months of pregnancy I can just come home, have dinner made for me (yeah right!) and sit down and relax. I'm hoping to start getting in some walks now too until it gets too cold. I really won't have any more excuses to not get a little exercise. However, I haven't been beating myself up too much though because I read that during pregnancy vigorous housework can burn about 200 calories an hour and I've spent hours on end doing housework!
Earlier today I took another picture of myself. Here I am at 25 weeks.......

I've been feeling my little
Aiden more and more these days too. Sometimes not all that much and sometimes all the time. A few weeks ago both in the same day Daddy saw my belly move from one of his little kicks AND he felt him move so that was exciting. Just a few days ago we were watching TV in bed and I put Daddy's hand on my belly for about an hour and my little man was kicking up a storm so Daddy really got to feel him that night. I have my last monthly appointment at the end of August and then I start going every 2 weeks until the last month and then every week. I'm guessing that this is about the time that the rest of the pregnancy starts to fly by! I also have my diabetes check (a normal test they run around 27-28 weeks) so hopefully all goes well with that and I have to get a Rho-
gam shot because I'm B- and all B- pregnant woman are advised to get this shot. So, all that being said I'll be sure to post again after my next back to back appointments. Meanwhile I'm going to enjoy feeling my little man get bigger & bigger and I'm going to enjoy feeling him play soccer with my insides! :-) I'm also going to go on a bit of a shopping spree to put the final touches on decorating the house.....I'm having so much fun now that all of the not so fun cleaning is done! Oh, and I almost forgot to mention too that I'm going to begin the registry process tomorrow over at Babies R Us and Target. Stay tuned.......
